SuperUnknown XIV Semi-Finalist Seamus Flanagan
Presented by Newschoolers.com and Sierra at Tahoe If there’s anything that we can say for certain after spending the past few weeks reviewing this year’s Superunknown entries, its that the talent pool has never been deeper, and there’s more variation in style, influence, and inspiration than ever before. Superunknown XIV pulled in over 80 entries from talented amateurs around the globe- each entrant displaying their own unique take on skiing- some street, some park, some pow, and some a mix of everything. Figuring out how to compare and judge one against the next was a huge challenge, and while we can’t say that we have the perfect formula, after spending countless hours consulting with athletes, media, and the Level 1 staff and rewatching most of these entries more times than we can count we have a list of 16 Semi-Finalits, and 9 Finalists that we stand behind. We will be rolling out the Semi-Finalist all week long through Friday. Check back daily for all the edits. Its up to YOU to decide who will take the 10th spot in the SuperUnknown XIV Finals- give them all a watch, spread the word, and vote for your favorite to join the other Finalists and our crew in Sierra at Tahoe, CA at the end of April for a shot at the title! The Wild Card Poll is open from Saturday March, 25th until Friday March, 31st 12:00pm (MST) and you can vote once a day.Read all the info about Superunknown XIII here: http://superunknown.level1.ski
Having a handful of our riders in the same place at the same time is a rarity for us. Whether they’re chasing snow across the US hunting urban spots, filming with production companies or partying their asses off, these guys are busy. Featuring some of the regulars you’ve come to know along with a few new additions, we spent a few days in February tearing up A51 in our backyard of Summit County.
"Right Back Where We Started" || Full Movie
Jiberish Clothing presents ‘Right Back Where We Started’, a complimentary motion picture profiling the Jiberish family of athletes as they display their unique styles in the disciplines of snowboarding, skiing and skateboarding. From the terrain parks of Colorado, to the bustling streets of San Francisco, watch our cameras follow around some of the best in the game. Leave the grandiose action sports movies in your DVD player and load up our 2010 digital featurette which will boast content that you, the rider, can relate to. Those feel good sunny days in the terrain park, the pursuit of the elusive manual pier side and the thrill of greasing that perfect night time urban down rail are some of the sensations we have captured in colorful and dynamic moving images. Featuring: Tom Wallisch, Joe Mango, Ian Cosco, Adam Delorme, Mike Hornbeck, Justin Norman, Henrik Harlaut, Stephen Richards, Matt Walker, Seamus Flanagan, Keri Herman, AJ Kemppainen, Elijah Moore, Jon Brogan and Corey Vanular. “Banged Up” is the much anticipated follow up to Sam Zahner and Calvin Barrett’s debut film “70/30”. Winding their way through the streets of Colorado, Minnesota and Massachusetts, Sam and Calvin were joined by Mike Coppola, Seamus Flanagan, Scrappy Joe, and Pete Koukov. After countless cold days and painful nights, last minute cross-country drives chasing storms that didn’t happen, endless shoveling and a surplus of slams, the title could not be a more accurate depiction of Winter 17/18 through the eyes of the crew. Filmed and Edited by Sam Zahner and Calvin Barrett
